The Myron Gushlak Foundation is pleased to report its recent donation to "Kids Kicking Cancer".

The Foundation was drawn to this charity because of its unique approach to the treatment of children with cancer.

"Kids Kicking Cancer" teaches children how to retain their own sense of autonomy and to fight the feelings of isolation that often accompany a cancer diagnosis. The child is taught how to become a partner in their own healing process through the physical and spiritual benefits of the martial arts.

The motto of KKC, "Pain is a message one does not have to accept," resonated with the positive mind set of the Myron Gushlak Foundation.

The innovative approach and the immediate tangible benefits this organization brings to children were very much in line with the goals and philosophy of the Foundation.
